Encuentro
Encuentro Folklórico Mexicano
Our annual gathering, bringing folklórico groups and enthusiasts from across Europe together in London.
What it is
Encuentro is a chance for the Mexican folk dance community in Europe to be in one room. Groups travel in from different countries for a day of dance workshops, conversation and celebration.
It is a unique opportunity to connect, learn and strengthen our folkloric community in Europe — and, in practice, the way most of us have met each other.
The groups directory grew directly out of it.
